I Scream I Scream. We All Screamed For Ice Cream!

Peters Creamery opened in 1954 and closed in 1976.
Its speciality was ice cream and was a beloved destination for school excursions.
It was a vast complex that is pretty much in tact today.
One building is used for indoor sport, the remainder by a large haulage company.

  1. My man, my man, my man ... fix up your title.

'I scream. You scream. We all screamed ... ' or is my memory off down with the fairies.

I love the rust in the centre part of that chimney. Such roughage.

  3. You are correct but it was me screaming to get hold of that free drumstick at the end of the tour

  4. We buy ice cream powder and make our own, tastes great! Saves space in the freezer, and we can have it whenever we want it. We do the same with yogurt, same manufacturer.
All we got was a paper factory and a feather factory! We were definately considered factory fodder back in those days!
    Regards.

  5. We had a Streets ice cream factory near my place. Our school took us on a tour and we could have all the icecream we could eat.
