Skywatch Friday


When it floods the reflected sky fills the earth's surface but it cannot disguise the misery and mud that farmers will face over the next few months.

  4. My wifes family are farmers and will face difficult times. Just one of many thousands of similar stories. My heart goes out to the farmers of the Lockyer Valley whose farms and lives have been utterly destroyed.

  6. I've been following the news from Queensland very closely as you can imagine. That photo itself says a lot but I've seen so many utterly distressing ones... My heart goes to the people who've lost their homes and more.

  7. an enormous job to clean up the mud and debris not to mention rebuild lives and infrastructures. stay dry.

    On the other hand this picture has this "extra" with the composition and reflection that if I did not know about all the trouble and work you all have got..... I would have said it was nice..
