The Sheriff''s Office


 The Sheriff of Grafton operates out of a beautiful colonial bulding that was the town's first Police Station.

  1. umm ... pardon, but what does a sheriff do exactly? Does he come and take your stuff if you don't pay your government bills?

  2. Any unpaid bills will do, not just the government. I once lived in London and our landlord defaulted on his mortage and the Sheriff of St John's Wood came to our door and threw us out with 1 hours notice, it felt like I was living in the medieval period.
