Portraits of Bangalow 2479

I think it is so interesting how the Internet is transforming public art and public spaces. Take the Inside Out Project: form a group, take portraits, upload them, Inside Out sends them back. Wow! free, vibrant, interesting and engaging public art.
The good folk of Bangalow have taken up the challenge and have transformed the red brick Post Office into a canvas that celebrates locality, diversity, individuality and community.

  7. I have gone and read all that I can read about this project from your links and am blown out of the ballpark. I cannot wait to get to school tomorrow and go to our middle school art teacher. It would be so wonderful if we could participate and place the art in the front of the school. They are closing us down in another year and move us into the city with another middle school. We do some many exciting things at our little rural school, and this would just be the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for your post. It is an awesome undertaking. genie
