The sun is shining and the beach towns of Northern NSW are packed with holidaymakers and day trippers celebrating Boxing Day, however, there is one very big problem, the beaches are closed due to large seas generated by ex-Tropical Cyclone Fina.
Oh well best turn on the TV and watch the Cricket from Melbourne, the start of the spectacular Sydney to Hobart yacht race and eat leftover prawns, ham and potato salad from yesterdays lunch.

Boxing Day is often like that: meh!
ReplyDeleteI have spent the morning wandering around Rushcutters Bay where the Syd-Hob fleet was in full prep mode. Watching the start does not do a great deal for me ...
so sorry for the closed beach, but you got a great photo!

Well we had a massive hailstorm in Melbourne on Christmas Day! Kept things interesting. Fortunately no damage to our house, but nto so for many other people with the damage bill total in the 10s of millions of dollars.
