Getya Sundee Tele - Getya Sundee Mayel

You can still find paperboys in Grafton, riding the streets and making their distinctive calls. I  wonder how much longer it will last?

  1. I never see how our newspaper gets delivered, but I doubt it this way!

  2. Our local newspaper focuses on community news thes days but they don't use paper boys. They have paper adults that drive around in cars.

  4. I agree with Pat. This kid is going to be famous one day.

  5. I haven't seen a paper boy in years. Mine gets chucked out of the window of a moving car and its pot luck where it lands.

  6. Nice photo and thought Mark. As from last week, I get my daily paper delivered to my e-book reader. Hope the paper boy and girl industry can find other ways to earn a living and stay fit!

  7. We used to have newspaper delivery people ... usually in cars (we live quite a ways out of town). Now our local paper delivers through the good old USPS - we get it in our mailbox every Wednesday!

I'm glad to see there are still places where kids on bikes still deliver the newspapers!

  8. It's years since I have seen a paperboy and yet this was a common sight at weekends when I was growing up in Sydney!
