I'm unsure why the break-wall entrance to Coffs Harbour has been painted in such vivid colours but it looks great. In the distance is South Solitary Island which became an uninhabited island when the James Barnet designed lighthouse went electric in 1975.

Colourful Break-Wall & South Solitary Island

Look at all those lovely horizontal swathes ... the rocks are so ... so ... realistic .. duh!
ReplyDeleteWell, that sort of harbor will really catch your sight! Makes it less boring too. South Solitary Island matches with the isle itself.
ReplyDeleteSuch an artistic feature - the coloured rocks and the natural right by them! Looks great with that great plain of blue water!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy Blue.
I agree-the coloured rocks look terrific! Those bright colours look great next to the deep blue. Perhaps you could contribute to Mandarin Orange Monday- a photo challenge for each colour:)
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is wrapped in a patchwork blanket.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sight- such art on the coastline is quite a clever idea.
ReplyDeleteThat is blue-tiful art!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday, Mark!
What a peaceful place to visit and relax.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The water is so calm. Have a fabulous week.

Great photo and I love those colorful rocks! Maybe boaters can see them better in their fancy dress!

Whatever the purpose is, it sure looks great. It will attract more people.
ReplyDeleteWow! It's great idea! I hope after few years it will be colorful too.
ReplyDeleteIt definately makes the end show up. Maybe so you don't run into it. Colorful and pretty.
