D is for Dramatic Defile
Wollomombi Falls between Armidale and Ebor are among Australia's highest, from top to bottom it is 220m.
In the top right/hand corner of the photo is the lesser known Chandler Falls. Both falls are part of the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park.
A spectacular drop there ideal for the drama of a waterfall! Lovely photo!
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely right about the "dramatic", Mark! Great shot.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot and the place it beautiful. But I must admit I sort of freaked out because I’m afraid of heights.

ReplyDeleteWow, what a great shot. I'm feeling a little dizzy.......
ReplyDeleteAre there caves down there? I can't determine if the black hole is one or part of the water.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo..
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw your 3 chimneys yesterday I knew exactly where you were heading. When I dropped in there it was freezing!
Impressive. I decided on our recent trip that more time spent in that area would be worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteThats a gorgeous piece of nature. Would love to go there.
