Here is a glimpse of the very exclusive hotel, Rae's on Wategos @ Byron Bay. It has 7 apartments and often has celebrity guests like The Rolling Stones, Tom Cruise and Kate Hudson.
Wategos is a small valley on Cape Byron that went from a banana plantation in the 1960's to one of Australia's most expensive spots to buy a house by the 1990's. Some houses have sold for over $10 million!
Despite the glitzy mansions, the beach and it's parks still are very laid back and family friendly....that's if you can find a car park.

Now there is the key word..Carpark!!!!
