Lawrence Post Office

The Lawrence Post and Telegraph Office has been operating out of this simple Federation building since 1896.

  3. I'm impressed at the Post Office, still standing two centuries after. Post Offices are my favourite spots, especially when I'm traveling. I send postcards to myself and a few friends as souvenir. I'd go inside this one in a heartbeat!

  8. I am amazed at how many people send post cards to themselves! I always felt a little foolish doing that, though I loved getting the card after coming home.

  9. with so many post offices being closed and moved to amalgamate with larger centres, this one should be cherished.
