Lakeside Living @ Lennox Head

Lake Ainsworth is a freshwater lagoon just 50 metres from 7 Mile Beach and the Pacific Ocean. It's water is brown due to the tannins that leach from the Tea Trees.
At it's northern end is the very well known and loved Sport and Recreation Camp that generations of school children have visited over the years. I wonder what ever happened to the fabulous Mrs McGillicuddy who regaled the kiddies with a different persona everday and a story about how her many husbands had met sticky ends. My favourite was when she wore the pith helmet and the tale of how she had accidentally shot number 3 while on a big game hunt. The looks on the school children's faces was always priceless.

  4. Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Taking a few minutes and
actual effort to produce a good article… but what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and don't manage to get anything done.
Feel free to visit my blog post couple
