Matheson Presbyterian Church
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Psalm 23 KJV
All that is left in Matheson is the Presbyterian Church, I am unsure if it is still being used but it seems to have a new roof since I last passed by.

I love it! Sheep, shepherd, pasture, church--all together in one picture in the classic symbolism.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to PsalmChallenge!
Maybe it is now a private dwelling, as so many rural churches have become.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not a private dwelling Joan, I think it still gets used once or twice a year. It's on private property so I didn't jump the fence to look in the window.
DeleteThe whole environment surely close of being a prayer in itself. Thank you for this wonderful impression of your environment. Thank you as well much for your kind attention and participation ! Please have a good new week ahead.

(As I don't hold a credit card, can't apply a linking system for this challenge; which tries to illustrate the Books of Psalms, each Sunday one, having already reached its 87th week, hence next will be the 88th. Would be more than a pleasure to see your address in the comment section, so that I can manually put the link into the post.)
