Wellingrove Creek Bridge

The Gywdir Highway crosses Wellingrove Creek in the long vanished village of Matheson. The creek is a popular spot for fossickers searching for elusive New England sapphires.

  1. A lovely capture Mark with the lavender-blue field flowers in the fore-ground.
If there was any possibility that there were sapphires in that creek I think I'd be out there fossicking.

  2. Mark, «Louis» thanks you for this fine contribution to Sunday Bridges.
He hopes the new year is off to a good start for you.
