Wingfield Bridge - Brushgrove to Cowper

The Wingfield Bridge recently celebrated it's 50th birthday. It links the villages of Brushgrove and Cowper across the South Arm of the Clarence River.

The new Cowper pontoon has hosted lots of boats over the summer season. In the background from left to right is: the old Catholic Church Presbytery, Mary Immaculate Cowper Catholic Church and the Cowper Hall.

  3. Hello Mate,

I guess, this is my first visit. How I love OZ... Seeing pix from the Land Down Under drools my heart in trillion. I been there several time, studied there in mid 80's etc etc and still lots to see.

As you see, I am from The Philippines but living in Stockholm, Sweden for more than half of my life, so OZ is really a dream land to visit again, one beautiful day. Hopefully, next year.

Enjoy your day, mate and hope you have lots of BBQ parties in the park.

    Cheers,
    /CC girl

  4. 50 is quite modern. I am sure it would have been a great asset to the community when it got built.
