Church Conversion
I haven't been able to find out any information about this simple brick church in Bundarra, perhaps it was Presbyterian?, Methodist? maybe even Calathumpian!

Pretty little church and love the sun and blue skies and lovely flowers! Great shot for the day, Mark! Hope your weekend is going well!!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe the Pastafarians (aka devotees of the Flying Spaghetti Monster!) will take it over?!?! I came across this bogus religion at work one day in the dim distant past(a)!!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link - it's good for a laugh! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Spaghetti_Monster
Strange doorway? in the middle - almost like a garage roll-a-door! And somehow I wonder if it is still used as a church! This is one building with a story I am sure!
ReplyDeleteA lovely old rural church Mark...... by the look of the front door it's maybe used as some-thing else now-a-days.
ReplyDeleteThat front door is very mysterious ... maybe it is funeral parlour
ReplyDeleteCalathumpian! Never in my long life have I chanced across that word. Thanks for the vocabulary enhancement, Mark.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is a Calathumpian Church, please? It sounds like something out of the Chronicles of Narnia, maybe the church that the Dufflepuds attend. Anyway, it's a delightful old building!
